DISTRICT GOALS

Goal 1:

Student Achievement

 

To facilitate the collection of student data and support the implementation of instructional strategies related to grade level and content area analysis.

Objective:

 

 

 

Review and update the middle school ELA and library media program to include a focus on a combination of paper and electronic writing and research strategies to improve skills and stamina toward improved essay writing.

Goal 2: 

Cultural Diversity

 

To foster cultural diversity in the classroom through foundational practices that support inclusion, acceptance and celebration of those differences among students.

Objective:

 

 

 

Expose students to relatable real-world skills and experiences of STEM professionals who represent the cultural diversity of our global community by bringing STEM/STEAM practices in grade level science, math and cross-content curriculum through an integrated approach.

To support the retention of high quality certified instructional staff.

Objective:

 

 

Redesign the Educators' Academy within the Professional Development plan to provide choice in more relevant categories toward higher levels of professional engagement and growth to support and retain teachers.
